Memory Cafe: Cowichan

Service Description

Relax, unwind, and have some fun! The Memory Café is designed to allow you and your loved one to participate in creative activities together while socializing with others. The café offers a caring and welcoming community for both people with dementia and their caregivers. Local guest artists, musicians, and other creatives will join us as we build a community of people living with dementia and their care partners. Coffee, tea and treats are provided. Mondays 10:45am - 12:45pm Mill Bay Hall @ Kerry Park Recreation Centre. Fall Session I - 5 weeks $12.50/pair TOTAL Starts September 1, 2024 September 9, 16, 23, October 7, 21 (No sessions on Stat holidays: Sept 30, Oct 14) Fall Session II - 5 weeks $12.50/pair TOTAL Starts November 18, 2024 November 18, 25, December 2, 9, 16 Fridays 10:00am - 12:00pm Cowichan Community Centre, Somenos Room, in Duncan Fall Session - 5 weeks $20.00/pair TOTAL November 15, 22, 29, December 6, 13 Registration opens when the CVRD (Cowichan Valley Regional District) Fall Activity Guide is released. Registration is thru the CVRD. Register as 1 unit for each pair (the person living with memory loss and their care partner). Space is limited to 8 pairs (16 attendees total).
