Memory Cafe
We provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive social environment for people to interact and form relationships with those living with similar experiences as they move through their dementia journey.

We offer artistic, musical, and recreational enrichment opportunities to engage participants. It is extremely beneficial for the health and well-being of those living with dementia and for their informal caregivers (friends/family) to enjoy a break from their normal routine. By introducing new creative activities into their lives, people maintain their sense of self and experience greater joy with their partner.

Coffee, tea and snacks are provided.

Dementia Insight: Interactive Training Program
The BC Dementia Care Society is establishing an advisory council of people living with dementia (PLwD) and their informal/familial care partners.
This advisory council of people with lived experience of dementia will guide our mission, our programming, services, and resources, through better understanding, by drawing on their personal experience.
The insights offered by this lived experience will continue to guide the BC Dementia Care Society as we provide direction on behalf of PLwD and their care partners in health, social, awareness, and community-based initiatives.
Are you interested in joining us to share your experiences on your dementia journey?
